MANILA, Philippines – Several construction groups have expressed full support to the zero-tolerance policy against corruption of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD).

The Construction Project Management Association of the Philippines (CPMAP), headed by its president, Eduardo Hitosis,said Housing Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling’s "head-on and straightforwardly stand against this social cancer is an inspiration to us –a reminder that there is still hope for our nation and there are still clean and committed public servant.”

The Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA) said "integrity, transparency, and accountability are values that must guide every stakeholder as we work together with government to address the country's housing needs.”
The DHSUD Employees Association (DHSUDEA), headed by its resident Roel Fernandez, said its support was a collective pledge of honesty and integrity from the employees and underscored its commitment to uphold the moral standards of DHSUD.
"Corruption has no place in our mission of building communities and providing every Filipino with access to safe, adequate, and affordable housing... Known in the construction industry as an advocate of good governance, Aliling told the private developers that corruption, even in the slightest form, should not be tolerated—both by government and the private sector.
